Cluck Tales – Sunday Brunch

Cluck Tales, the place which has been the talk of the town since opening up earlier this year brought more cheer into the foodies. Along with revamping their menu a bit, Cluck Tales now serve a delightful Sunday Brunch! It’s a bonus for  those who go to Don Boscos for mass on Sundays. Is it time to let go off the typical ‘Sunday Bhajji’ and move on to a brunch with some yummy chicken cocktails or omelettes?

There are five new additions made to keep your tums happy on a Sunday, maybe you deserve all this after a hard night of partying.

  • Your first choice is one fried egg, savory muffins, buttered spinach, a grilled tomato, chicken sausage, sautéed mushrooms, hash browns and a mug of tea or instant coffee.
  • Second choice is the simple scrambled eggs on toast.
  • Sourdough thick pancakes with fruit compote and cream.
  • Tomato Salsa omelette and
  • Spicy Chicken Sausage Masala white Bean Stick.

My meal started off as i was served a healthy shot glass of a mixture of cucumber, lime and coconut juice.

It weirdly makes a good refreshing combination.  I personally liked the last meal on the list, The Spicy Chicken Sausage Masala-White Bean Stick. The sausage masala along with the buttered toast seemed liked a perfect combination of flavors. The sausage has just enough spice for your mornings. It isn’t too spicy so you don’t have to worry about it while ordering.  This is Chef Manjula’s alternative to the Sunday ‘Bhajji’  for the people.

Next up I tried the Tomato Salsa Omelette which did take me a little by surprise. It was a perfectly rolled up omelette with salsa and olives inside. It was then cut into pieces to make it convenient to eat. They were picture perfect to say the least.

I ended up my meal with some coffee from Coorg and the Pancakes with fruit compote. The flavor of the day was blueberry. I’m not a fan of the pancakes. They can be highly improved upon.

Head down to Cluck Tales this Sunday for a lip smacking, healthy brunch at the hands of the ever smiling Chef Manjula.
